A couple of years ago I fell in love with some bic rollerball pens that I found in the pound shop. They write beautifully with smooth ink and ease. They came in sets of red, black and blue. I only ever really use the black ones. This is one of the many pens I used and has alas run dry. After noticing its end I placed it back in a pot of pens to be thrown away ‘later’…

Sometimes I see the pen, resting in its pot, knowing it has met its end, knowing that I should throw it out. But then time moves on and it is once again forgotten about. This time I remembered.

About this project.
